Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arsenal Pune SC (operated by Pune Gooners) ("we", "us", "the Club") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use arsenalpune.com and buy memberships, tickets, or merchandise from us. We only collect what we need to run the club and serve you.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number.
- Shipping details: your postal address and PIN code, where you buy a membership kit or merchandise that we ship to you.
- Order details: what you bought, the amount, and the date, along with a payment reference from our payment partner.
- Membership details: preferences relevant to your kit or membership, such as apparel size.
- Basic technical data: limited information such as your device or browser type and, where you click a link in our emails, that you clicked it, used to keep the Site working and improve our communications.
We do not collect or store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details. Those are handled entirely by our payment partner.
2. How we use your information
- To process your order and send you confirmation, ticket, and welcome emails.
- To ship your membership kit or merchandise.
- To verify entry at events and manage members-only access.
- To send you relevant club updates, event announcements, and membership communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To keep our records, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:
- Razorpay: to process payments.
- Email and infrastructure providers: our email-sending and hosting partners, used to deliver our emails and run the Site.
- Shipping partners: to deliver your kit or merchandise.
- Partners, sponsors, and venues: in connection with running the club, our screenings, and our events, we may share necessary member or attendee details (such as your name and relevant membership or booking information) with partners, sponsors, and venues we work with, for purposes such as event hosting, managing entry, and delivering member benefits.
Arsenal Football Club. As an officially recognized Arsenal supporters club affiliated to Arsenal FC, we share certain member information (such as your name, email address, city, and membership status) with Arsenal Football Club for the recognition and administration of our supporters club and for official supporter communications.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our community.
4. Data retention
When you book through a tagged screening campaign link, we save its registered campaign source, medium, campaign and optional placement label with that booking to count paid orders and refunds. This happens even if optional Analytics and Marketing cookies are off. These labels are linked to your booking and are not anonymous. We use only the current booking URL, carry its validated labels through sign-in in our existing auth return records and verification links, and do not remember campaigns in browser storage or assign an earlier campaign to a direct visit. Campaign links must not contain names, email addresses, phone numbers or individual tracking tokens. This does not turn on Analytics cookies or advertising, change your cookie choices, or subscribe you to emails. We remove campaign labels from auth return records when a sign-in link or state is consumed. A scheduled cleanup removes labels from expired or previously used records, normally on a five-minute cycle; missed runs or backlogs can delay cleanup. Auth records remain for security and rate limits. Labels already included in verification emails cannot be retracted. Existing order snapshots remain with our booking records under the retention policy below. Older, explicitly consented campaign snapshots may include first/last visits; cached older checkout pages still require Analytics consent for those snapshots. Email unsubscribe, provider email click tracking and site cookie preferences are separate controls.
For our Instagram, X and WhatsApp tickets links, we also keep daily totals of incoming tickets-hub requests and successful account sign-ins. Hub requests use a general hub campaign label; sign-ins and paid bookings use the screening selected on that page. We do not count one hub request as a click on every screening. The counter table stores only UTC day, campaign ID, event type and count; it stores no IP addresses, user agents, account or session identifiers, or cookies. Repeated requests, bots and previews can contribute to request totals, so these are not unique-person counts. HEAD requests, explicitly marked operational probes and declared prefetches do not count. Counter failures can leave some requests uncounted. A sign-in counts when the server creates the account session and auth record successfully; failed, expired and linking-only attempts do not count. A buyer who is already signed in can book without a new sign-in. Paid bookings are reported separately, using verified orders and payments. These limited counters do not turn on optional Analytics or advertising.
We keep your information for as long as you are a member or active buyer, and afterwards only as long as needed for our records, accounting, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete data we are not required to keep.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sharing it with partners, at any time. Email [email protected] with the subject "Data Removal Request" and we will action it within a reasonable time.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to those who need it.
7. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental involvement.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
